Locks & Lock Mechanisms

Our locking mechanism is engineered to provide maximum security. We use 1” thick steel bolts, which engage into holes cut into the safe’s frame on three sides, both horizontally and vertically. The bolts use a spring lock system and are mounted in a stepped frame, which means that the pins are inaccessible from outside the safe and, when the lock is engaged, the bolts not retract. The locking mechanism itself is also protected by half-inch thick steel plate. The bolts are engaged by locks from our partner Sargent and Greenleaf, one of America’s premier lock companies. Featuring industry leading durability and an automated relocking trigger, the locks are built to UL specifications for tamper resistance (UL 768). We offer single or dual locks, and can provide traditional dial types, dial with key entry, digital keypad locks, thumbprint entry locks, or auditable locks so you’ll always know when the safe was opened and by whom.
